Packaging Options

Package OptionsSwiss Meat Processing in Hermann, Missouri is our processor, and they will custom cut and package your beef. We deliver our beef no more than 10 at a time to avoid unnecessary stress on the animals and to insure optimum quality control. All meat is inspected by the USDA. The facilities at Swiss Meat Processing utilize state of the art equipment, and they have a long standing reputation for excellence.

Processing Charges

Current processing charges are $50.00 (per whole beef) in addition to the processing charges for the packaging option you choose: either vacuum wrap or shrink wrap.

Vacuum Wrap. Vacuum packaging is the best option and should keep your beef for about 18-24 months. It's $0.70 per lb of rail weight (hanging weight). Total processing costs will run approximately $323 for a whole beef and $161.50 for a half beef.

Shrink Wrap. Shrink wrap is more economical and not as attractive, but will keep your beef for about 12 months. It's $0.50 per lb of rail weight (hanging weight). Total processing costs will run approximately $245 for a whole beef and $122.50 for a half beef.
